Wesley "Cole" Agner, Jr. 57, of Madison and Wakulla Station passed away February 18, 2013 at his home in Madison. Cole was born on June 19, 1955 in Madison, FL to the late Wesley Cole Agner, Sr. and Mary Alice Sawyer Agner.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Beggs Funeral Home Madison Chapel with burial at Barbara Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 5-7 at the funeral home.
Cole was owner and operator of Cole Agner Trucking. His greatest joys in life was spoiling his granddaughters Harley and Eva, sitting on his front porch in Madison watching the deer walk across the fields and pastures during the daytime and watching airplanes fly overhead at night. He enjoyed farming, raising cows, and collecting John Deere memorabilia.
Cole is survived by Shirley Rigdon of Wakulla Station, two sons: Wesley (Opie) Agner and Cheryl, Josh Agner and Misty and their children Ashlyn and Blake, all of Lake butler, FL; one brother Rockey Agner and Tina of Madison, FL; four sisters Elaine Ponder and Gene of Piedmont, AL, Pam Cherry and Keith of Jacksonville, FL, Priscilla Newbern and Mike of Auburndale, FL, and Yvonne Plain and Mike of Lee, Fl. He is also survived by granddaughters Harley and Eva Rigdon and their parents Justin and Dawn Rigdon of Crawfordville, Fl; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and devoted friends Phyllis and Ken Hobbs of Wakulla Station.
Cole was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends; never to be forgotten.
