Margaret E. "Meg" Graham

Margaret E. "Meg" Graham, 78, passed away on February 3, 2013. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carl Graham; daughter, Debbie Smith; and son, Bill Graham.

Meg was born January 29, 1935, in Vancouver British Columbia, Canada, where she was raised by her Scottish grandmother. She had lived in Tallahassee for many years and dedicated her professional life to helping those in need. Her work included service as the director of the Telephone Crisis Counseling Service and the Tallahassee Legal Aid Foundation. Meg was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church and loved singing in the CPC choir, as well as with the Tallahassee Music Makers. Her church family was a great source of comfort and joy to Meg, and she delighted in being surrounded by friends, art, music, good books, and laughter.

Meg is survived by daughters, Kim Mott (son-in-law, Bobby Mott) and Sherry Watson (son-in-law, Rick Watson); grandchildren, Christopher Porter, Kristen Welsh, Chris Mott, Kimberly Jones ( husband, Adam Jones), Brett, Hunter and Meghan Watson, and Misty and Destin Graham; and great grandchildren, Kyra Welsh, Ella Watson, Madeline Cady, Brayden King, and Dylan and Lillyahna Graham.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at 4:00 p.m., at Christ Presbyterian Church, 2317 Bannerman Road, Tallahassee, FL 32312. The family will receive visitors and celebrate Meg's life immediately following the service at The Women's Club in Los Robles, 1513 Cristobal Drive, until 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Presbyterian Church or to .
