Willie J. Ross, Jr.

Willie James "Shine" Ross, Jr., 50, of Monticello passed unexpectedly on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Bolen Community Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 3-7:30 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO 850-997-5553. A 1981 Jefferson County High School graduate, he was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
"Shine" was an HVAC mechanic and had worked for Locke's Heating and Air prior to his retirement. Forever treasuring his love and memory are his high school sweetheart and devoted wife, Claretha Geathers Ross; daughter, Ja'Vondria Ross; sons, Jacarri and Jamison Ross; parents, Pastor Rebecca J. and Willie J. Ross, Sr.; sisters, Gwendolyn R. (Lawrence) Singleton, Sharon Ross and Wanda (Matt) Houston; brother, Gregory (Tresa) Ross; father-and-mother-in-law, Willie and Dorothy Geathers; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
