Dominique Hollis Obituary
Dominique La'Monte Hollis, 24, employee of Applebee's, passed tragically in an accidental drowning Sun. May 19 in Tallahassee. Funeral services will be 11AM, Sat. May 25 at Life Deliverance Ministries, 3377 Jim Lee Rd., burial will follow at SouthSide Cemetery, both in Tallahassee. The funeral cortege will assemble at 10:15am at the Southside Arts Complex on Saturday. Dominique will rest in the mortuary from 3-7pm Fri. May 24 at RICHARDSON'S TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850)576-4144. Dominique was a native of Tallahassee, member of Shady Grove PB Church #2 where he sang in the youth & young adult choir, 2007 graduate of Amos P. Godby High School. He leaves to cherish his untimely death his parents: Gail Hinson-Williams (Calvin) & Edgar Hollis (Terri); siblings: Renaldo Hollis, Amari Williams, Rondy Watson, Anthony Youmas, Katryce Williams, Gabriell Carr; devoted friend: Victor McNeil, Jr.; grand parents: Eddie Lee & Earlene Hollis; god mother: Annie Mae Keaton; & a host of other relatives & friends.

At this very moment it's still shocking to me, and I'm still lost of words. Dominique was a sweet hearted individual, and it saddens me to know that such a tragic accident has happened to such a beautiful soul. Seems like yesterday, Dominique and I with some of our other friends were cuttin up during our freetime in school. He always made everyone laugh or smile. I still can't believe this has happened. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to his family.

I miss coming to the neighborhood chilling with you and vic yall became my new friends. We was finto start working out together everyday my lil girl always make sure i came cause she always wanted to see vic and his boyfriend she would say.
