Julia Cromartie Obituary
Julia Mae Robinson Cromartie, 97, of Tallahassee passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Miracle Hill Nursing Home. Services will be held at 12 Noon, Sat., July 6, 2013 at Hickory Hill Primitive Baptist Church with burial at Tallahassee Memory Gardens. Public viewing will be Friday, July 5, from 2:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Strong and Jones Funeral Home.
She is survived by her son, Joe Cromartie (Jeannette); four daughters, Lenora Cromartie, Ola Mae Wright, Ellarine Cromartie and Annie Jackson (James); sister, Catherine Robinson Gardner; daughter-in-law, Emma Louise Cromartie; god daughter Vera Johnson; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a great-great-great grandchild, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Julia was preceded in death by her sons, Willie "Jack" Robinson and Richard "Buck" Cromartie; her brothers Robert and Richard Robinson and her sister Gracie Robinson.
