Doris Oline Scott

Mrs. Doris Oline Scott, age 91, a native of Mayo, Florida, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013, in Tallahassee, Florida after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Harvest Assembly of God Church, east of Chattahoochee, Florida and had retired as a Food Service Aide II with the Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Bernice J. Pittman of Chattahoochee; two sons, William "Bill" H. Scott and his wife Carolyn of Calvary, Georgia and Donnie M. Anderson and his wife Mary of Crawfordville, Florida; three brothers, James Lawson and his wife Shirley, Marvin Lawson and his wife Edwina, both of Mayo, Florida and Hubert Lawson and his wife Mildred of Sneads, Florida; six granddaughters, ten great granddaughters, three great great granddaughters; four grandsons, six great grandsons and five great great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Scott, Sr.; a son, Bobby K. Scott; her parents, Cleve and Claude May Lawson; two sisters, Annie May Anderson and Randy Coleman; and two brothers, Juil Lawson and David Lawson.

Visitation with the family will take place Tuesday, August 27, 2013, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM EDT, followed by Funeral Services at Harvest Assembly of God Church, at 11:00 AM EDT, Highway 90 East of Chattahooche with Rev. Charles Stephens and Rev. Ralph Oliver officiating. Remembrance in song by Juanita Key accompanied by Annette Stephens on piano. Committal and Interment Services will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Highway 90 east of Chattahoochee.
