B. F. "Tom" Thomas

B. F. "Tom" Thomas, 86, of Tallahassee, passed away after a long battle with cancer, on July 2, 2014. He was born in Colquitt, GA on August 20, 1927 and graduated from Miller County High School. He married Mary Lou Nahoom on September 18, 1947. Tom was with Miller Distributing Co. from 1953 to 1974. Tom also owned and operated two Langston's Seafood Markets from 1973 until 1981 when he sold the Markets and worked as a consultant with American Restaurant Supply.
He was a long-time member of the Tallahassee Elks Club. Tom dearly loved his family and had a passion for fishing.
He is survived by his children, Marcia T. Reynaldos and husband Ron; Thomas G. (Tommy) Thomas and wife Lucinda his sister Sue Thomas Bean and husband Edwin; his grandchildren; Amber Weatherill, Arlene Manning, Lauren Steindler, Erin Gallagher, Patrick Gallagher. Tom also leaves behind 9 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Tuesday, July 8 from 10-11am at the Culley's Meadowwood Funeral Home, Timberland Chapel where funeral services will be held that day at 11:15am. Interment will follow in Culley's Meadowwood Memorial Park.
