My thoughts are with all of you during this time. Your mother was a wonderful head of Lower School and a mentor and friend to me.

I knew Anne as a colleague when she taught First Grade, and I, Third. She had that special ability that makes a great teacher-to create an environment where children love to learn. There was energy, and joy in her classroom. By the time she became Head of Lower School, I was teaching in Upper School. I would have loved to have watched she was doing to transform the Lower School.
