Ronald PERSINGER Obituary

PERSINGER, Ronald W. 73, of Sun City Center, Florida passed March 8, 2013. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam Conflict. He retired as a general foreman from Behlehem Steel after 40 years of service. He was a member and usher at the First Baptist Church of Ruskin. Survivors include 3 daughters, Sandra (James) Pelisek, Susan (David) Gray and Sheila Smith; his mother, Therma Faye Persinger; his brother, Gary (Valerie) Per-singer; and 8 grandchildren, Anastasia and Corey Martin, Curtis Smith, Nicholas and Matthew Pelisek, Christopher, Connor and Lauren Gray. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Funeral service will be 10 am Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Ruskin, 820 College Avenue, Ruskin, FL. Interment with Military Honors will be in Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ruskin, 820 College Avenue, Ruskin, Fla 33570.
