Dr. Curtis Eugene GAUSE

GAUSE, Dr. Curtis Eugene 87, of St. Petersburg, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 22, 2012. Curtis was born and raised in Tarpon Springs, FL. He proudly served his country in Germany during World War II. Curt attended the University of Florida and Emory School of Dentistry. Curtis practiced dentistry in St. Petersburg until 1992, first as a sole practitioner and then as the managing partner of The St. Petersburg Dental Center.He was active in Campus Crusade for Christ; he established a church in Clearwater and he shared his faith at every opportunity. Curt is now in heaven receiving his reward and his family is confident that he heard the Father say "well done, good and faithful servant". Curt was a wonderful Godly man, a loving husband, and a strong, faithful father. He will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Curt is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joyce Dixon Gause; a daughter, Carolyn (Dean) LeBoeuf, of Tallahassee; his son, Jeffrey Curtis (Kelly) Gause, of Tallahassee; two grandchildren, Ryan (Julia) Curtis LeBoeuf of Columbia, Missouri and Kristen "Nicole" LeBoeuf of Chesapeake, VA. His daughter, Margaret Anne Grace Peacock predeceased him. The family will celebrate Curt's well deserved homecoming on Dec. 31 at Northside Baptist Church in St. Petersburg at 11 am.
