MAGGI, Lee 40, of Tampa, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Holly (Hutton) Maggi for 13 years. A native of Longmeadow, MA, he was the son of Joseph and Maura (Murphy) Maggi. Lee attended Longmeadow High School and Iona College where he played lacrosse and earned his bachelors degree. He was a lifelong employee of Anheuser-Busch, with the progression of his career including cross-country travels and residencies Minneapolis, MN, Boston, MA, Morgantown, WV, and most recently Tampa. Lee was passionate about his work and was very proud to be part of a global leader in his industry. He was highly regarded both professionally and personally. Everyone who knew him seemed to consider him their best friend, which was surely a testament to his kindness and good nature. Lee possessed an unbridled enthusiasm for finding humor in all situations. His laughter was infectious, his stories were captivating and his charisma was unparalleled. His greatest joy came undoubtedly as a devoted father to his four beautiful daughters, Caroline Murphy (age 12), Anna Elizabeth (age 8), Teresa Ray (age 6) and Ellery Maura (age 3). Survived by his wife; his parents; brother & sister-in-law, Jay & Carol (Adamski) Maggi, of South Hadley, MA; brother-in-law & sister, Zack and Sarah (Maggi) Morin of Longmeadow, MA; aunt, Nancy (Murphy) Dowd of South Hadley, MA; cousins, James Dowd of Santa Monica, CA, and Michael Dowd of Tampa; in-laws, John and Bonnie (Haynes) Hutton of Newburgh, NY; brothers & sisters-in-law, Dave and Amber (Hutton) Atlas of Nanuet, NY, and Spencer & Virginia (Hobby) Hutton of Houston, TX. In addition, he leaves numerous nephews & nieces, and countless friends he very much considered family. Viewing hours will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19th, 3:30-6 pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 West Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618. Also on Tuesday, Feb. 19th, there will be a Celebration of Life for Lee from 5-8 pm at T. Pepin's Hospitality Centre, 4121 N. 50th St. Tampa, FL 33610. The Maggi family humbly asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made for his four young daughters to "The Maggi Girls Scholarship Fund."
