Richard Howard ARMBRUSTER

ARMBRUSTER, Richard Howard age 77, of Clearwater, passed away peacefully Dec. 6, 2013 at Sabal Palms Health Care Center. Richard was born in Miami and graduated from Miami Senior High School. He later earned his BS degree in accounting from FSU in 1961, after serving in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. During his professional career, Richard worked in public accounting with Ernst and Ernst and as treasurer of Geo - Space Systems. At the time of his retirement, he was secretary treasurer of Cone Brothers Construction Company, owned by the Hardaway Company of Columbus, GA. Currently, he created Cay Pointe Villa on Indian Rocks Beach. Richard served on the planning and zoning board for the City of Largo and as a past member of the All American Sertoma Club of Clearwater. He is a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Largo where he served on the board of trustees and the finance committee. Richard is survived by his wife, Judy Armbruster; daughter, Lynn Timberlake; son, Cliff Armbruster and granddaughters, Caitlynn, Allison, and Meghann Timberlake. He is survived, also by sister, Maryann Giordano of Ft Myers and nephews, Jim, Steven and Scott Bramlett. Internment at Sylvan Abbey Cemetery of Clearwater, followed by a celebration of his life on Dec. 12, 2013 at 2 pm, St. Paul United Methodist Church of Largo, 1199 Highland Ave, Largo.
