Rudolph VERNON

VERNON, Rudolph 76, of Brandon, passed away March 29, 2013. Rudolph's careers included being a police officer in Jamaica, manager of support services at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital, and security manager for Oppenheimer. A big Yankees fan, he loved traveling, and enjoyed the performing arts. Rudolph will be forever loved and missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Edith Vernon. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joy Sanderson-Vernon; three sons, Keith Vernon, Leiton Vernon, and Shawn Vernon; daughter, Kay Vernon; two stepdaughters, Judy Martin, and Denise Sanderson-Grimes; 9 grandchildren, Brandon Martin, Malcolm Martin, Candice Vernon, Chad Vernon, Ariana Vernon, Kimora Vernon, Catlyn Grimes, Chloe Grimes, and Ava Grimes; and extended family and friends. A service will be held at 11 am on April 5, 2013 at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 3315 Bryan Road, Brandon, FL 33511.
