Frederick MONROE Obituary
94, died March 6, 2018 in St. Petersburg, FL. He was born in St. Louis, MO, March 21, 1923. He moved to Indianapolis, IN, in 1951 to take a job with the Army Finance Center, Ft. Harrison, from which he retired in 1987 after 37 years of service. He was a jazz saxophonist for 60 years, playing with the Larry Ligatt band and Dick Laswell Trio. In 2007, he moved to Treasure Island, FL, where he lived with his daughter, Stephanie D. Monroe, who he is survived by. Services will be Sunday, March 11, 2 pm, at:
