FEIMSTER, James R. "Dick" 84 of Seminole died March 24, 2013 with family at his side in Ivy Ridge Memory Care, St. Petersburg where he had been cared for by an extraordinary staff. Dick was the loving, irascible patriarch of an unruly tribe. He was predeceased by his son, James and his granddaughter, Michelle. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Faith; 5 children; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and his dog. Born in Allenwood, NJ on Sept. 2, 1928, he was a Navy veteran. He went to the University of Miami until called back to run the family fuel oil business. He moved to Indian Shores with his family in 1958. He was a local businessman and 7 term Mayor in Redington Shores from 1979 to 1994. He was deeply generous, a loving family man, loyal friend, entrepreneur, pied piper of all animals, and golfer. His sweet tooth was legendary, his pockets always filled with hard candy. We will miss him dearly. A celebration of his life will be held in Constitution Park, Redington Shores on April 28, 2013 at 1 pm.
