Louis "Lou" ZULLI


ZULLI, Louis "Lou" 84, of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013. He was born in Cleveland, OH, and had wintered in Florida since 1978. He retired to Florida in 2007. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, and served as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. Lou was a Manufacturer's Representative, owning and operating Insulation and Components Co., from which he retired after 32 years. He was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Tampa, and was a former member of St. Angela Merici Catholic Church in Fairview Park, OH. Lou is survived by Florence, his wife of 60 years; son, Louis Jr. (wife Sharon); daughters, Valerie Zulli, Victoria Zulli, Audrey Logan (husband Daniel); 8 grandchildren, Emma, Anna, Kevin, Matthew, Joey, Melissa, David & Sarah; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Emma; and siblings, Anne Morabito, Joseph Zulli, and Marilou Zulli. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Monday, Oct. 7th, at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, Tampa. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the mass. Military honors are scheduled for 10 am, Friday, Oct. 11th, at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
