GAGANIS, Michael J. 92, of Largo, passed away on Dec. 18, 2013. Mike was born in Toledo, OH, and moved to Largo in 1987 from Detroit, MI. Before his retirement, he owned and operated Olympic Electric. He was a member of St. Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church, St. Petersburg and was a U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran serving in WWII. His memberships include AHEPA, V.F. W. Post #9272, American Legion Post #0252, both of Seminole. He also served as president of volunteers at University General Hospital, in Seminole. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, John and Chryssoula Gaganis; and his great-nephew, Christopher. He is survived by his wife, Mary, of 33 years; his daughters, Georgia (Roland Veilleux) Greene, of Largo, and Pauline (Mike) Brock-man, of St. Petersburg; brothers, Panagiotis Gaganis, of Palm Harbor, and Constantine Gaganis, of Anaheim, CA; sister, Anna Adams, of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Amanda (Derek) Olesen, Kim Brockman and Brent Brockman; his great-grandchildren, Emma and Easton Olesen; nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Connie, Vicki, Michael, Joanne and Steve; his great-nieces, Stephanie and Samantha; and great-nephew, Michael; and many others. Memorial contributions may be made to the V.F.W.Post 9272, at 10997 72nd Ave. North, Seminole, FL 33772. The viewing will be from 3 pm, until service time at 5 pm, on Sunday at Moss-Feaster Funeral Home, on Indian Rocks Road in Largo. www.mossfeasterlargo.com
