BROWN, Raymond 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at the Brookside Hospice in Palm Harbor. Ray had a great sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him. He worked as a police officer for the Warwick, RI, Police Dept. for 9 years, then for Rhode Island Public Transit Authority for 30 years. He moved to Dunedin in 2002, where he worked for an additional 9 years as a crossing guard for the sheriff's dept. He was a (PER) and member of the Elks for 34 years, most recently a member & trustee at the Dunedin-Clwtr Lodge #1525. Ray also served in the U.S. Navy. Ray leaves behind his loving wife, Elizabeth Brown; daughters, Stacey Meece, Allison Medeiros, Lynn Thibault; sons, Mark Brown and William Thibault; his brother, Lester Brown; and sisters, Irene Rectenwald and Judy Read.
