Goldstein, Robert P. "Bob" entered into eternal rest on June 4, 2012 following and extended illness. Mr. Goldstein was born in Bonnhamton NJ on August 19, 1933 to Peter Goldstein and Mary Baumgartener Goldstein, who preceded him in death. Bob retired after 20 years service with the US Army. Chief Warrant Officer W2 Goldstein was the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal and many other awards and medals. He was a member of the Knights of the Blue Nose, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, a lifetime member of the Otter Caribou Assoc. #61 and had flown with the First Aviation, the 134th and 187th Co. Mr. Goldstein was also a member of the American Legion and the VFW, in addition to the The Grand Lodge of Georgia, Free and Accepted Masons. Bob is survived by his wife, the former Carol Ball; 2 children Robert and Cynthia Foster, both of GA; 1 granddaughter; 5 step children Jodi, Joslyn and Robert of FL, Randy of PA, and Ronald of OR; 7 step-grandchildren; 1 step great grandchild; 2 sisters Marion Jameson of NJ and Rose Nuss of FL; and will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of Bob's life will be announced at a later date.
