SWINDALL, Theresa Sue of Atlanta, GA, departed this life to be with her Lord on March 31, 2014. She was born on March 12, 1949, in Gadsden, AL. Theresa graduated from Briarcliff High School in Atlanta, then earned a Bachelor of Science from Presbyterian College in 1971, with a double major in Religion and Education, graduating with honors. Theresa also earned a Masters in Education at The University of Georgia, and taught Special Education for over 23 years in Atlanta City Schools. Theresa was passionate about life, and was cherished by all who knew her. She loved teaching, cooking, sewing, decorating, and Bible study, and was devoted to her family. Theresa is survived by her brothers, David Swindall (Linda) of St. Petersburg, Pat Swindall (Kim) and Kevin Swi-ndall (Marilyn) of Johns Creek, GA, and by Philip Swindall (Barbara) of Atlanta, GA; and by her sister in Christ, Cathy Lee, also of Atlanta; along with seventeen nieces and nephews. At 11 am, on Friday, April 4, a memorial service will be held in the Kellet Chapel of Peachtree Presbyterian Chu-rch, at 3434 Roswell Rd., Atlanta, GA 30305. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peachtree Presbyterian Church or to the Grady Health Foundation.
