BAUMGARTNER, Charles E. "Charlie" 94, of Tampa, passed away on Sept. 26, 2013 at Melech Hospice House. Born Oct. 19,1918, Charlie was a native of Tam-pa, a graduate of Hillsborough High School, and member of Lake Carroll Bapt-ist Church. Charlie was a real estate broker in Tampa for over 50 years who promoted original Carrollwood and Car-rollwood Village. He served in the US Navy Seabees during WWII. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lillian Terry Baumgartner, and his sister, Melanie Seals. Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret; son Randy and his wife Betty Ann of Odessa; daughter, Kay Rosenthal and her husband Ron of Maryland; grandchildren, Charlie and Christopher Baumgartner, Casey Hagopian and husband Eric, and Dylan Rosenthal; three great-grand-children, Caelan, Declan, and Cade; sisters-in-law, Barbara Williams and Vaudine Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday, Sept. 30 at 2 pm at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa, with Pastor Kyle Slater officiating.
