I was a friend of Chuck Bauer when he was stationed on board the USS Concord AFS-5 back in 1975/77 He was good friends with my boyfriend Mike Crook, Mike Charles, Doug Smith and Angus Atkinson Brown Jr. I was looking to find some of the old crewmates to say hi and was saddened to see that Chuck has passed. I have been making copies of pictures from that era for my friend Mike and thought you might like this pic I have of Chuck. This picture was taken my the guys on the 1975 or 1976 cruise to Guantanamo Bay Cuba by Mike Crook.
My heartfelt condolences to the family
