PAULICH, Donald R.

65, of Winter Haven, FL, born in Greensburg, PA, June 13, 1952, entered into eternal rest November 28, 2017. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he was a military police platoon sergeant for 15 years, and he served as a detective and police Captain for the federal government for 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Rita Paulich; children, Laura Paulich Hockman (Cris), and Brian Paulich (Dawn); mother, Lena Paulich; siblings, Henry Paulich Jr. (Connie), Barbara Hoffman, and Bonnie Paulich Hill (Eric); stepchildren, Ken Race, and Cathy Nelson (Steve); grandchildren, Aidan Hockman, Skylar Warrelmann, Felisha Warrelmann, Justine Nelson, John Nelson, and Andrew Nelson; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Paulich and father, Henry Frederick Paulich. The family will receive friends Friday, December 1, 6-8 pm, at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 S. County Road 39, Plant City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 2, 11 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 535 Avenue M NW, Winter Haven. Interment will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, support.woundedwarriorproject.org.
