McDOUGAL, Ernie Nathaniel "Papa Ernie" 72, of Pinellas Park, died Saturday, April 13, 2013, surrounded by his wife & family at Bayfront Hospice. He was born in Haywood, OK, and he came here in 1979 from Hagerstown, MD, where he worked for Mack Trucks. Locally, he retired from Southern Tool and Machine Company in 2006. Ernie was an Air Force veteran with a passion for classic Mustangs, movies, building model airplanes, scuba diving and his dogs. He was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Byrtie McDougal. He is survived by his loving wife, Gail; sons, Richard (Kimberly), David and Dennis; 4 grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Lexie and Sean; and mother-in-law, Fran Fox. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a memorial at 11 am, on Wednesday, June 19th, at Anderson McQueen, 7820 38th Ave North. Private interment to follow at the Bay Pines National Cemetery.
