ALDERMAN, Frances Wilkes of Clearwater, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013,of Alzheimer's. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Nellie Hinson; her husband, Emmit Wilkes; and two sisters, Lucille & Charlie Mae. She was married to Homer Alderman. She is survived by Jane and Tom Smith, Jackson, WY, Jim and Melania Wilkes, Tampa, and Jan and Bill Morton, Ft. Meyers; her sister, Blanche; and her numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; her nieces; nephews; and friends. Frances loved the Lord and read her bible daily for as long as she was able. She was an English teacher in the Bay area and also an accomplished interior designer. The family wishes to thank her wonderful caregivers for their years of devotion to our mother. Their love and attention to her has been endless. The graveside services will be held on Friday morning for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests recognition of the Alzheimer's Foundation.
