MAIORANO, George F. 84, of Largo, passed July 27, 2010, under the care of Bay Pines Hospice. A WWII Army veteran, he was a retired Railroad foreman, was Catholic and loved golfing. Survivors include his 2 daughters, Teresa (Joseph) Burns of Largo, Patricia (Mitchell) Williams of Pennsylvania; a son, Donald (Karin) Gardner of Pinellas Park; 2 sisters, Rose Gordon and Ann Gross, both of NJ; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his wife Isabella and a son William Gardner. Visitation will be held Friday, from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 at Mohn Funeral Home, 9700 Seminole Blvd. and a Mass will be held Saturday at Noon at St. Matthew's Catholic Church.
