MORICZ, Henrietta Violet

born April 9, 1929, a native of Palmer, Massachusetts, who resided at Hawthorne Village, passed away peacefully and with her family by her side on December 1, 2017. She was a lifetime resident of the Brandon/Valrico area. She was president of the Resident's Council at Hawthorne, studied law at Lasalle Law School, and was a published author of children's books. She was a notary and married many happy couples throughout the years. Her love of cooking awarded her many championship ribbons. She is survived by her three daughters, Bonnie McCluskey (Mac), Brenda Knox

(Randy), and Ellie Lambert (Jack); Dan McCreery; even grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edna and Charlotte; several beloved nieces and nephews; and many close friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 6 from 6-8 pm, at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 CR 39 S, Plant City, where a Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 7 at 3 pm.
