Jean McCLELLAND Obituary

McCLELLAND, Jean C.

79, of Brandon, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018. She was welcomed home by her parents, Roy and Mellie Meeks; her husband of 57 years, Charles "Bud" McClelland; son, Gary Alan McClelland; grandson, Zachary Steven Cameron; and her siblings, Bobby Meeks, Vernon Meeks and Jimmy Meeks. Jean is survived by her daughter, Carrie Lynn McClelland; three grandchildren, Caitlin Alexandra Morejon (Steven), Blake Alan McClelland, and Wayne William Ruppert III; great-grandson, Logan Morejon; a brother, Jerry Meeks; and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Bainbridge, GA in 1939, attended Courtland Business School and was a Senior Customs Inspector for the Federal Government for 24 years. She loved cooking, reading and watching TV, but most of all, spending time with her family. A funeral service will take place 3 pm, Thursday, April 26, 2018 with family to accept friends one hour prior at Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Hillsborough County Pet Resources Center at www.hcprfoundation.org

Dear Aunt Jean,I'm so sorry you had to leave us.But,now you get to see Granny,Papa,Uncle Bud,Gary,Zachary,Daddy and all your Brothers that have left.Your a Beautiful women and I loved all our talks.And i learned alot from you.You will be greatly missed.I love you so much and glad we got to talk a few weeks ago.Until we meet again.Love Debbie
