MIRABELLA, Joseph Amelio

75, passed away March 6, 2018. Joseph was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and retired as a Master Patrolman from the Tampa Police Department. Joseph enjoyed music and DJing, cooking Old World Italian cuisine; he was an avid reader and researcher, and was a collector of antiques and military memorabilia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Amelio Mirabella and Angelina Aragona Mirabella. Joseph is survived by his sister, Sarah Jill Mercado; nieces and nephews, Laura Ann Miles and children, Bradley James Clonts (Linda) and children, Michael Allen Clonts and children, Robbi Jean Bretz and children; extended family and numerous friends. Family will receive friends from 4-6 pm, with a time to share at 6 pm, Saturday, March 10, at Blount & Curry at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa. A graveside service will be conducted 3 pm, Sunday, March 11, at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa. In lieu of flowers please make donations to LifePath Hospice in his memory.
