LESLIE, Larry Larry has joined our heavenly father in heaven and now smiles down upon us. Larry Labin Leslie, 70, of Brooksville, peacefully passed away Saturday morning, Dec. 14, 2013, at home surrounded by family. He was born in Columbus, OH, June 15, 1943, to Harriett Leslie and the late Otto Leslie. Larry was married for 49 wonderful years to Ann Leslie. He is survived by his three sons, Larry Labin Leslie II, Michael Tyler Leslie and Blake Randolph Leslie; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Leslie; his grand-daughter, Mary Kathy Leslie; brother, Thomas Leslie; and sister, Linda Willson. Larry is a Marine Corps Veteran that served in Vietnam, was awarded the Purple Heart & earned the Presidential Unit Citation. He attended the Grace World Church in Brooksville, and was a member of the Marine Corps League & Veterans of Foreign Wars. He loved working in his garden and going fishing. He was a loving devoted husband, a wonderful father, and was blessed with great friends that he considered family. He will be missed by everyone whose life he touched. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Fund (https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org). Burial will be held at 1:30 pm sharp on Friday, Dec. 20th, at the Florida National Cemetery, at 6502 SW 102nd Ave., Bushnell.
