HARTSELLE, Mahlon A.

90, died September 6, 2018 in Brentwood, Tennessee. He was born May 20, 2018, in Hartselle, Alabama. Mr. Hartselle served in the Army Air Corp from June 16, 1946 to June 16, 1949. After his military service, he returned to Hartselle, Alabama. On October 15, 1949 he married his childhood sweetheart, Jean Praytor. They were married for 50 years, until her death March 23, 2000. They are survived by their three children, Mary Lynne (Eli) Capilouto of Lexington, Kentucky; Mimi (Jim) Steele of Brentwood, Tennessee; Art (Glenda) Hartselle of Denver, Colorado. They have five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Mr. Hartselle is also survived by two sisters, Virginia Hatfield of Springfield, Georgia and Martha Hartselle of Birmingham, Alabama. Mr. Hartselle was employed by Allstate Insurance for thirteen years as a sales manager, working in eight different cities throughput the country. He was also employed by Nationwide Insurance for eighteen years in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he also served as a sales manager. A memorial service will be held September 30, 2018, 2 pm, at The Hartselle Depot, located at 110 Railroad Street, Hartselle, Alabama.
