AMMON, Molly Kathleen 19, departed this world suddenly, Sunday, March 13, 2011. Molly attended Christ the King Catholic School and was a 2010 graduate of H.B. Plant High School. She was a member of the National Honor Society, The National Young Leaders Conference, Kiwanettes, LINKS, Beta Chi, Young Life, Florida Christian Athletes, and lettered in cross-country for PHS. Molly was a Bright Future Scholar and a freshman at the University of Florida, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. Molly will be forever remembered for her infectious laugh, genuine smile and her kind and loving spirit. Her grandparents, Angeles and Ralph Garcia, John R. Ammon, and Uncle William H. Ammon, preceded Molly in death. Left to cherish her memory are her parents Angie and Bob Ammon and sister, Katie. She is also survived by her grandmother, Marjorie Ammon; her uncles, Ralph Garcia III (Beth) and John Ammon; aunts, Ann Vitali (John) of Oklahoma City, Carole Garcia, of Santa Monica, CA, Dotte Egbert of Arizona and Betty Ammon of California. Molly will always remain in the hearts of her four cousins, Allison and Rachel Vitali and Haley and Kelsey Garcia along with her numerous friends. Reverend Michael Muhr will offer a funeral mass celebrating Molly's life on Thursday, March 17, 2011, at 10 am at Christ the King Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Christ the King Catholic Church, located at 821 S. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. Active pallbearers are Henry Duran, Gary Garcia, Ralph Garcia, Richard Hatcher, Al Salem, and Gary Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Molly's many loving friends and her Delta Delta Delta sorority sisters. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in memory of Molly Ammon, Delta Delta Delta, Alpha Psi Chapter, to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
