BARLOW, Nancy (Brown)

80, of Seminole, passed away June 1, 2018. Nancy was born in Clearwater September 6, 1937 and was raised in Seminole. She was a lifelong member of Seminole Methodist Church. Nancy was a member of three pioneer families of the Largo and Seminole area, the Taylors, Campbells, and Grables. She was the daughter of Arnett and Virginia Grable Brown. Nancy attended local schools, graduating from Largo High School in 1956. She attended Florida State University and was an FSU fan forever, Go Noles. She spent her working years in business, retiring from Raymond James/Eagle Asset Management as Vice President. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Gordon Barlow; her parents; a sister, Winifred Brown; and a brother, Lamar. She is survived by her brother, Tom Brown (Melba); a niece, Libby Brown Cheatham (Dale); and a nephew, Tom Brown Jr. (Jena). She is also survived by great-nephews and great-nieces, Tom Brown III (Mary), Erin Cheatham, Kristen Brown Voitier (Jake), Clay Cheatham; and great-great-niece, Ellie Brown. For family and friends wishing to send a remembrance, Nancy had three places near and dear to her heart; All Children's Hospital St. Petersburg, SPCA, Largo, and the Seminole Historical Society. At Nancy's request, there will be a graveside service for her family at a later date.
