GLENDINNING, Robert W. Jr. "Bud", 64, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 2, 2013. Bud was a native of St. Petersburg. He received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University at Lincoln, NE. He joined the Air Force in 1972 and served 20 years as an Accounting and Budget Technician. During his service, he was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and the Air Force Meritorious Medal with one oak leaf cluster, and was meritoriously promoted to Master Sergeant by Gen. James Vick, Commander, Air Force District of Washington. After his retirement, he cared for his dad until his death and committed his remaining years to serving the Lord at Central Christian Chu-rch of St. Petersburg. He is survived by his two sisters, Sherry Glendinning White of Inverness, and Sandra Soder-berg of St. Petersburg; five nephews and nieces. His home coming will be celebrated at Central Christian Church located at 6161 22nd Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710 on Tuesday, Sept. 10th, at 6 pm.
