ANGSTADT, Dr. Homer B. Jr. 88, entered into rest on April 17, 2013. He was born in Reading, PA in 1924. He was a talented gymnast who paid his way through medical school by performing Vaudeville acts and graduated Philadelphia Osteopathic College of Medicine in 1959. He moved to Largo with his family that same year and began Family Practice in Dunedin, FL. He was affiliated with Suncoast Hospital as Chief of Staff for over 4 years in the 1970's. He had an extraordinary dedication and devotion to his patients, family and friends. An average day for Dr. Angstadt began with early morning hospital rounds, a packed office day-schedule, after-hour nursing home and house-call visits, ending with evening hospital rounds. He was truly a "One Man Dynamo." Dr. Angstadt was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, of over 50 years. Survivors include 3 children, Brian Angstadt of Clearwater, Sharian Angstadt-Kirby of Clearwater, Pamela Custer of Clearwater; 2 grandchildren, Tiffany Custer of Indian Rocks Beach & Melanie Custer of Charlotte, NC. www.mossfeasterclearwater.com
