PATE, Billy M. 82, of Plant City, passed away Feb. 25, 2014. A retired teacher, baseball coach, administrator, and principal in the Hillsb-orough County Public Schools, he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees at The University Of Alabama. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Morris Pate; two sons, Morris Pate (Cathy) & Michael Pate (Jennifer); and a daughter, Sarah Dee Harbin (Johnny). Also surviving are grandchildren, Emily Pate, Abigail Pate, Maggie Pate, Matthew Harbin, Ellen Marie Harbin and John Dairell Harbin. A memorial se-rvice will be held at 4 pm, on Sunday, March 2, at The First United Methodist Church of Plant City, visitation at 3 pm, and reception following the se-rvice, where all friends are invited to share a meal and a story.
