ROBINSON-WALKER, Dorothy "Dottie" 89, of Tierra Verde, passed away peacefully May 19, 2014. She was born in Gastonia, NC, on April 27, 1925, to George and Nell West Robinson. She was married to the love of her life, David Blair Walker, for 55 years. She is survived by a brother, Horace Robinson of Gastonia; sisters, Anne Wiley of Gastonia and Martha Badger of Dallas, TX; and sister-in-law, Abby Robinson of Gastonia. She was predeceased by brothers, Lyone and Max Robinson. She will be sorely missed by her daughters, Shielia Walker Nagley and husband, Wilbur "Bill" of Tierra Verde, and Emily Blair Holmes and husband, Thomas, of Virginia Beach, VA. She was the proud grandmother of Charles "Chip" and Jill Pearce of Rilpey, TN, Christopher Pearce of St. Petersburg, Sean and Whitney Holmes of Oxford, MS, Erin Lee Holmes of Madison, WI, Buddy Brantley and Bonnie Teasley of Atlanta, GA, Scott Nagley and Ashley Graham, and Jeff and Devin Nagley of St. Petersburg. Her great-grandchildren, Joshua Pearce, Christopher Michael Pearce, Savanna and Isaac Sellers, Shelby Odom, Christopher Walker Pearce, Cole Pearce, Lillie Pearce, Jeffrey Nagley and great-great-grandson, Isaac Sellers Jr., will miss her sweet smile and words of wisdom. The family was also were proud to share her with many dear friends who "adopted" her as a mother and grandmother and brought great joy to her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church in St. Petersburg and the Tierra Verde Women's Club. Her funeral service will be held at 10 am, Thursday, May 22, at Beach Memorial Chapel, 301 Cory Avenue, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. A burial service will be held at Venice Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Venice, where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved, Blair. If so desired, contributions may be made to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760 or First Baptist Church, Christmas on Gandy Fund, 1900 Gandy Blvd., St. Petersburg, FL 33702.
