HARFORD, Robert Hugh, age 85, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 in Orlando, Florida. He was born on August 8, 1928 in Buffalo, New York to Hugh A. and Marjorie E. (Sharp) Harford. Bob was a past president of the Highlands County Horseless Carriage Car Club, previous owner of Harford Hauling Dump Truck Service, proudly driving "Tinkerbell". He had been a resident of Sebring since 1975 coming from Boynton Beach, FL and served in the US Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Edith Retherford Harford (Churchwell); children Larry Harford (Greg); Laurie Hawkins (Jim); Billy Retherford; Carol Retherford McCullough (Neal); Connie Retherford Hancock and Dennis Retherford; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is predeceased in death by his parents Hugh and Marjorie Harford; brother Bill Harford (Alice) and daughter Joan Retherford Henderson. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring.
