WEISSEG, Willodean Browne, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2014 in Tampa, Fl. Born in Vida, Alabama, she moved to Tampa in the early 1950s. She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph L. Browne, her parents Enoch and Mitchell Hedgepeth, two brothers Robert Carter and James Hedgepeth, two sisters Evelyn Dawson and Patricia Lundy, and her granddaughters Angel and Hope and grandson Zachary. She was a sweet and gentle lady with a strong faith that she lived every day. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church in Tampa where she taught Sunday school for many years and also served as the church secretary. She leaves behind her loving husband, Walter F. Weisseg; her sister, Georgia Lee Willis; her children, Lisa Francis (Frank), Vicky Kennedy (Steve), Jo Alyson Hill (Dwayne) and Adam Browne. She also is survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their gratitude to LifePath Hospice in Temple Terrace for their compassionate care. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday at 10am at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 East Lake Ave, Tampa. The visitation will be on Thursday evening from 6 to 8PM. Burial to follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
