KLEINSCHRODT, George J. "Boomer", age 89, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014. He was born August 5, 1924 in Newark, Ohio to George and Anna (Klaus) Kleinschrodt. He was a Mail Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Columbus, OH, member and past Adjutant of the American Legion Post 69 in Avon Park, FL, Masonic Temple in Columbus, OH, VFW Post 4300 in Sebring, FL, 40 & 8 Voiture 899 in Avon Park, FL, National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 78 in Columbus, OH, served in the U.S. Army during WW II, and a resident of Avon Park, FL since 1984, coming from Reynoldsburg, OH. He is survived by his wife, Betty Kleinschrodt of Avon Park, FL; daughter, Sandra Hoffer (Dale) of Crestline, OH; son, Lee Spangler (Susan) of Lithopolis, OH; 5 grandchildren, Scott Baldy, Juli Knoblock, Lori Klimionok, Joseph Baldy, Amy Spangler; 14 great- grandchildren; 1 great-great- grandchild; nephews, Jim and Rick Gebeau.
