MURRAY, Martin B. III Passed away on Monday, Oct. 19 at his home under Hospice care after a battle with cancer. Martin was born in Summit, NJ to Martin B. Murray II and June Campbell on Jan. 28, 1950. He moved to St. Petersburg at the age of 2 and resided here the rest of his life. Martin left behind his wife of 21 years, Debra; son Gerry; daughter Nevar; grandsons, Brennan and Patrick; siblings, Kathleen Reynolds, Steven Murray, Michael Murray and Mathew Murray; as well as nieces and nephews. Services for Martin will be held at the family church, Our Savior Lutheran, 301 58th St. S, on Friday, Oct. 23rd. The service will begin at 6pm, followed by a reception in the Hall. Martin will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was such a loving man with a great sense of humor. His love for his family and others and his passion for animals including his pet kangaroos and his love for his cars. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to his favorite charities which include Gulfcoast Oncology Foundation and Suncoast Hospice.
