Paulette TRANUM

TRANUM, Paulette 68, of Tampa, battled cancer with amazing bravery and grace and is now enjoying her rewards in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She passed from this life on Aug. 9, 2013 and spent her last weeks surrounded by her loving family. Paulette was supported in touching ways by her friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by mother, Ruth Irene Davis Campbell; father, Herbert Robert Campbell and sister, Betty Jewel Campbell. Paulette is survived by her twin sister, Georgette Campbell McVay of Prattville, AL; children, Scott A. Tranum of Land O' Lakes, Patti J. Martin of Tampa, Sonja G. Harrold of Hudson; stepson, William (Pat) Tranum of Dover; 8 grandchildren, Michael Harrold, Stephanie DeNieva, Kaylen Harrold, Amber Tranum, Sarah Martin, Luke Martin, Hunter Martin, and Justin Tranum; 3 great-grandchildren, Bradyn Barekat, Sofie Cline, and Makenli Martin; several nieces and nephews; and former husband, Irby Tranum. A special thank you to Bill Dreyer and Sandy Owens for the astounding support extended to Paulette and her family, you both went above and beyond and there are no words to express how much that meant. Paulette wore many different hats; mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, neighbor, sister, aunt, Sunday school teacher, missionary, houseparent, mentor, secretary, Bank of America employee, but her most important title was "Christian". Paulette's favorite passage from the Bible is John 3:1617. Her family would like to share that passage with you, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved." Paulette Campbell Tranum you are loved beyond measure and missed beyond reason. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Aug. 17th from 3-4 pm at Valrico Church of Christ, 1520 S. Miller Rd., Valrico 33594 with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 4 pm.
