Joan BENDIX Obituary
84, of Twin Lakes, WI, and South Pasadena, entered into the gates of heaven on March 6, 2015, while surrounded peacefully by her loving family. Joan left behind a legacy of love that included many friends and family. Her beloved husband of 57 years, Paul George; four children, Joseph (Lynn), Barbara Jean, Paul John, and Donna Wolf (John); eight grandchildren, Brian, James, Derek, Jennifer, Bianca, Samantha, John, and Dan; and three great-grandchildren, Hayden, Brooke, and Liam. Joan was born on June 28, 1930 in Chicago, IL, where she spent a great deal of her life raising and nurturing her family in Rogers Park and at St. Timothy's parish. Joan was preceded in death by her loving sister, Phyllis Heater. She was a devout Catholic and member of St. John's the Evangelist in Twin Lakes, WI, and St. John's Vianney in St. Petersburg Parishes. A funeral Mass in celebration of Joan's beautiful life will be held at 10:30 am, March 28, at St Johns Vianney Catholic Church, St. Pete Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.On line memorial & guestbook
