COLBURN, Doris Juanita

86, passed away Sept. 22, 2015, at Seasons Memory Care of Belleair. Born in Hyattsville, MD, April 9, 1929, she was the daughter of William Hugh Scott Sr. and Thelma Elmeda Scott of Hyattsville, MD; and wife of Edward Royce Colburn (1928-2010) of Tuscaloosa, AL. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Marie Colburn, of Clearwater; her son, Steven Edward Colburn, of Cape Coral; her sister, Nancy Anita Scott of Lecanto; her brother, William Hugh Scott Jr. of Upper Marlboro, MD; her granddaughters, Carly Marie Smith of South Bend, IN, Megan Brooke Staley of New York, NY, Amanda Brooke Staley of Blountsville; her grandsons, Aaron Brooke Staley of Sanford; Edward Brooke Staley of Erie, PA, SSGT Douglas O. Smith, USAF, of Marysville, CA; her great-granddaughters, Lilly Marie Smith of South Bend, IN, Olivia Grace Smith of South Bend, IN, and Valerie Marie Smith of South Bend, IN; and her great-grandson, Gavin Corran Staley of Sanford. Arrangements include a memorial celebration of her life Sept. 25, 11 am, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 1676 S. Belcher Road, Clearwater, Florida, 33764, followed by a graveside committal service at Sylvan Abbey Cemetery, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, Florida. There will be a private family gathering following the committal. To arrange flowers, please contact St. John's Church Office at 727-531-6020. Janet and Steve, we just learned today of your Mother's departure to Heaven. We are grieving with you, but we are also remembering all the joy she brought to our lives.
