Kenneth Lare

LARE , Kenneth , , "Bill" 85, of Brooksville passed away Nov. 24, 2015, under the loving care of hospice. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. Bill retired after 25 years as a High School Physics Teacher in Sidney, NY. He and his wife, Carol then moved to Florida where they became Master Gardeners and volunteered in the Hernando County Schools as Ag in the Classroom Instructors. He was predeceased by his son, Kent Lare and Daughter-in-law: Jennie. Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol of Brooksville; 2 daughters: Karen Shuey and her husband, John of Tampa; Katrina Cleinman and her husband, David of Spring Hill; a daughter-in-law: Bonie Lare of Tampa; 3 Grandchildren: Stephen Shuey, Adam Lare and Jordan Cleinman. Friends will be received on Friday, Nov. 27th from 6-8 pm at the Brooksville Chapel of Brewer & Sons, 1190 S. Broad St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sat., Nov. 28th at 11:30 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Brooksville. Bill will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
