Betty Lou Brown Obituary
Betty Lou Brown, 73, of Taunton passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2018 after a period of declining health. Betty was born in Taunton and was the daughter of the late Arthur Bouchard Sr. and Alveda (Amaral) Bouchard. Betty was educated in Norton schools and later attended Johnson and Wales to purse a career as a bookkeeper. She was employed at Bennys in Raynham for several years. She also worked for Trucchis supermarkets and retired as a switchboard operator from Sysco Boston. She enjoyed her word searches, playing bingo with her family and friends, watching movies and loved crafts. She was a devoted Mother and Grandmother who cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for being kindhearted and caring, but most of all her great sense of humor. She is survived by her daughters, Jamie Fredette and her husband Brian of Taunton and Alison Brown-Bedard and her husband Daniel of Taunton; brother, Arthur Bouchard, Jr. and his companion Lee Colby of Norton; sisters, Anita Sylvester and her husband Richard of East Taunton and Janet Sebetes and her husband Richard of Norton; grandchildren; Kiana Fredette, Ethan and Evan Bedard and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Stephen Brown and sister of the late Patricia Bouchard and Beverly Lussier. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 4-7pm in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave. Taunton. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 11am in St. Josephs Cemetery, Taunton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bettys memorial may be made to The Arbors Activity Fund, 763 County St., Taunton, MA 02780.
