Jeanne Ribeiro

Jeanne Marie (Lemieux) Ribeiro age 86, of Raynham, died Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was the wife of Albert P Ribeiro, Sr to whom she had been married 57 years. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of Real A. and Madeline L(McDonell) Lemieux. Jeanne graduated from Taunton High School and moved on to work at New England Telephone as an Operator. It was there where she met her husband, Albert, whom she married on June 28, 1958. She retired from her position to raise her children. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Albert P. Ribeiro Jr and his wife Joanne (Guimond) of Georgetown, Ma, Jane E. LaChance and her husband David of Raynham, MA, Dr.Virginia M. Ribeiro-Hartman of Canton Ma and Bernadette P Dacey and her husband Ronald of Raynham, MA. She was the mother-in-law of the recently deceased Dr. Edward Hartman, Grandmother to Olivia Rose Ribeiro, Jonathan and Daniel LaChance, Aidan and Conner Hartman, and Thomas J. Dacey. Jeanne was the sister of Ann T Precourt and the late Milton Ray Lemieux, Donald Lemieux and Louise K (Wholley) Horn. She was aunt of several nieces and nephews. Jeanne was a generous and giving person devoted to her family. For many years, Sunday dinner was a favorite event that she would have many family and friends gather and enjoy each others company. She loved cooking, embroidery and reading. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St Anns Church, Raynham on Saturday July 25, 2015 at 11AM.
