It's been five and a half years and frankly I just do not know anymore where the time goes. Our levels of communication in the years preceding your death were, in hindsight, sadly thin. I will remember our inside jokes and will continue to think of the what ifs. Why the world takes the good people first, I will never truly understand... I Miss you, Lizz-Dizzle. Even when we would go long periods without running into each other, when we did, it never seemed like the gaps were ever present. You were one of a kind.

My most sincere thoughts are with Lt Allen's family. In my 25 years in the Air Force I have NEVER known a more positive person. An incredible professional who was working at the "Captain" level as a 2 LT - an incredible officer and credit to her family. Elizabeth, I once told you you were the most "ebullient" person I have ever met, and I know you are in heaven smiling now. I am sorry I didn't get to work with you longer. To the Allen family: It is with sadness and love that I remember Liz. I know you are so proud of her. She accomplished so much in her short time here and she touched so many lives in a positive way. I remember the first time we met her as a child. She was so charming and well-mannered for one so young. Soon, we came to think of her as part of our family. It was a privilege to watch her grow into a lovely young lady with grace, ability, great work ethic and a fun-loving view of life. May God be with you and help you in this time of great sadness. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Liz, I will never forget you and your sweet smile, brave attitude and love of live. You are an inspiration and I am honored to have known you.

Elizabeth, I remember the first time I saw you.
No I don't.
What I seem to remember is you have always been in our lives. Smiling, singing, trips to the mall, the parks, Daytona, LASH, even a few trips picking up the gang after a "Night on the Town" the list goes on and on.
I can't tell you how pleased I am now, that even though I may not have your physical presence, I can still see, feel, hear, you in the faces and actions of all of us who know you and love you.
You keep smiling in heaven, my friend because your smile will lift even God's heart like it does ours.
Thank you for being in my life. Love you!

Elizabeth, I don't know how to go on without you here. You are a huge part of who I am today and I can not thank you enough for allowing me the chance to know you. My heart is broken to the idea that I will never hear your laugh again or see your incredible smile in any way other than photographs. It is hard to think the rest of the world still goes on when everything has stopped for those who know you. Every person you have ever met will miss you.. you are that amazing. I know you will watch over us and that you will be someone i see again when it is my time, but it is still difficult to try and understand why your time came so soon. I love you so much and I hope you know that. I will continue to love you and miss you, until we meet again <3

Lizz Dizzle.. I love you so much and have loved you since we started gifted together with Ms. Trojello. You have been my best friend and side kick. You have been there for me in all the important times of my life and were there for the birth of my son who you dubbed from birth as your "little potato"... a name that has stuck with him for 3 years <3 I just saw you before you got sick again and you were so happy to be better with so many plans. We made plans together and with Riley.. I wanted to make you a permanent part of my life again since we were spending time together after everything you had just gotten over from your first bout with cancer. Leo loves you so much. He said you were the only person that made him feel worthy of your friendship since he moved to Tampa and was so happy to have his "niz" around more. Each and every time I have seen you recently you fell asleep on my couches, no matter the occasion.. I could count on you hanging out until you passed out. When I saw you right before Christmas we hung out and talked for hours and Riley was so shy at first, then begging for your attention. You never fell asleep. Anyone who ever met you has loved you, Riley included. You are the most beautiful, kind, loving and generous person I have ever known. Your smile really did light up a room and not one person that you have blessed will EVER forget the smile always on your face. I have your pictures with me now at home and at work so that I never forget that smile. I love you so much and I wish this wasn't happening. You will always be the best friend I have ever had and I am so thankful to have known you the last 18 years, no matter how long our time from each other was we always picked up where we left off. Now I will have to imagine your half of the conversations but I will never stop telling you about everything, play by play. I love you Lizz Dizzle. May angels lead you in.
