Mary, I knew your husband well from the time he arrived in B Company until he rotated from Vietnam. I remember him as a kind, considerate, reliable and very funny soldier. I worked in the fire direction center, which was a part of the same platoon. I wish I had kept in touch over the years. I will remember him fondly. If there is anything my family can possibly do for you, please get in touch. God Bless you and your family. Doug and Donna Wagner

Mary and Family--I am saddened to hear of your loss. Sarge and my late husband worked together at Tampa Armature. I remember Sarge as a very kind, good man. May you find comfort in Gods love and the happy memories you have of him.

Our sympathy to Mary and family. We were so lucky to have met such a very nice couple in a Florida campground about 15 years ago.

A great soldier and true gentleman. Sergeant Wiggins provided guidance to me and other young Lieutenants when we first arrived in Vietnam. He knew what was going on and made sure all of the men in his platoon understood what was to be done. When I became the Weapons Platoon Leader in early 1967 I found a small but highly professional band of soldiers . . . a direct result of the efforts of Elijah Wiggins. We will miss him. God bless him and all of his family.
