ROBBINS, James W. "Bill", 90, Passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 22, 2012 in Sebring, Florida with his daughter Marcia and grand-daughter Jordan at his bedside. He was a godly man, a gentleman, a family man, and a loyal friend who began each and every day counting his blessings. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, he vacationed in Sebring for 16 years and became a permanent resident in 2010. A successful small business owner of the JK Robbins Agency, a Real Estate and Insurance Company in Indianapolis, Bill's real passion was golf. At 88 he shot his age minus one, at 89 he had a hole in one, and he was playing three times a week at Spring Lake Golf Resort until his very recent illness. But even if golf was his passion, Bill had his priorities. Family always came first and he will be sorely missed by his family and his many friends in Sebring and Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Lois Jean Robbins who he was married to for 50 years. He is survived by his oldest daughter, Marcia Robbins of Sebring and her children, granddaughter, Jordan Bonk of Sebring; and grandson, Tanner Bonk and wife, Christina of Los Angeles, CA; and youngest daughter, Peggy Robbins and husband Tom Berling of Indianapolis. Bill attended the Spring Lake Presbyterian Church and was a member of White Chapel Church in Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5 at Flanner and Buchanan, 325 East Carmel Drive, Carmel, IN 46032 with viewing at 1:00 PM, service at 2:00 PM and burial at Union Chapel following. The local Memorial Service will be held at Spring Lake Resort, 100 Clubhouse Lane, Sebring, FL 33876 on Saturday, January 12 at 2:00 PM.
